We are The Little Library, a global initiative that aims to foster a culture of reading and learning among people of all ages and backgrounds. We believe that books are powerful tools that can inspire, educate, and transform lives. That’s why we partner with our Little Library keepers, who are passionate individuals who share our vision and mission. They set up and maintain Little Libraries in their communities, where anyone can access books for free. They also contribute their time, skills, and resources to support our cause.

We started The Little Library in 2020, when we realized the value of reading and the influence it can have on a person’s life. We were inspired by the stories of people who overcame adversity, achieved success, and changed the world through books. We wanted to share this gift with others, especially those who lack access to quality education and learning opportunities.

Since then, we have grown to become a network of thousands of Little Library keepers across the world, who have set up more than 10,000 Little Libraries in various locations. We have reached millions of people who have benefited from our free book exchange service. We have also collaborated with other organizations and individuals who share our values and passion for reading and learning.
